This role is responsible for the operations of both Men’s/Women’s Golf Teams while reporting to the Head Coach of Men’s/Women’s Golf. In this role you will:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of Tournament operations for each Golf program.

  • Serve as primary contact to facilitate media for each team including social media accounts and press releases.

  • Responsible for daily operations including equipment, purchasing, facility coordination, monitoring fuel station, team travel logistics, alumni relations, student welfare, camps, and practice setup.

  • Supervise team managers, ARMS program scheduling.

  • Plan and organize official/unofficial visits and assist in hosting recruits during recruiting weekends.

  • Recruit tracking and data base management.

  • Work closely with coaches and support staff in all areas to support student-athlete development.

  • Coach players at Individual Events and attend some team tournament/practice trips.

Assist in coach program planning, recruiting and scheduling activities.

  • Including organize official/unofficial visits with recruits and their families.

  • Assist in hosting recruits during recruiting weekends.

  • Recruitment tracking.

  • Planning and scheduling of team competition and events.

  • Assist with community service with team and other duties as assigned by Head Coach.

  • Supervise team managers and ARMS program scheduling.

Serve as the primary liasion for team communication including alumni relations, assist in managing relations with benefactors, assist in marketing and promotions for the Program.

  • Serve as primary contact to facilitate media for each team including social media accounts and press releases.

  • Handle day to day communication and organization for team, departments on campus, parents, alumni.

  • Help organize practice, games, and any meals.

 Manage video technology and equipment for team.

  • Video student-athletes at all home and away competitions and manage storage to assist in Player Development and video practice as requested.

  • Player Development, practice set up, execute training plans, and travel to individual tournaments.

  • Facilitate structured practices with daily skill instruction.

  • Set up video review sessions for coaches and athletes to include manage storage for video library, organize managers to run video and technology, break down film for coaches.

Responsible for managing the daily operations.

  • Plan and organize team and coaches travel, home events, vacation training, manage the order, organize, inventory and distribute team equipment, purchasing, facility coordination, monitor fueling station, team travel logistics, alumni relations, camps and clinics.

  • Manage team travel and overall budget.

  • Assist with game scheduling and game contracts.

  • Organize post season housing and per diem. Manage/oversee collegiate tournament operations and alumni events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years)

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of how a college athletic program operates.

  • Knowledge of the NCAA rules and particularly how they apply to men's and women's golf.

  • Strong computer skills and ability to use video and other electronic equipment.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Previous experience as a student and/or working within an athletics department highly desired.
