Oversee all aspects of recruiting as well as camps and clinics; including but not limited to official and unofficial visits, contacts and evaluations, local sports clubs, speaking engagements, and donation requests. Responsible for approving official visits, reviewing related expenses, analyzing associated documents, policies, and procedures. Oversee review process for outside speaking engagements, donation/fundraising requests, and promotional activity requests. Provide recruiting related education and interpretations to coaches, staff, student-athletes, and fans/boosters and assist with NCAA and Big Ten Conference waiver requests and violation reports. This position will primarily work with NCAA Bylaw 13 and assist with Bylaw 11 and others as needed. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year of full-time experience working in an Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance setting. Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA rules. Excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and organizational skills. Criminal history background check will be conducted. Excellent benefits including staff/dependent scholarship program.
