Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach

K-State Athletics is a proud member of the Big 12 Conference and is seeking qualified applicants for an ASSISTANT WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL COACH which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position.

An example of job duties includes but are not limited to:

  • Daily coaching duties, which include but are not limited to coaching/teaching volleyball to student-athletes; mentoring, instructing and counseling student- athletes regarding athletic, academic and personal matters; and representing KSU, KSA and the women’s volleyball program in a professional and positive manner.

  •  Duties relating to recruitment of prospective student-athletes, both on- and off- campus for the women’s volleyball program, which includes but is not limited to a thorough knowledge of NCAA and Big 12 Conference recruiting regulations, travel, corresponding with prospective student-athletes and their coaches, and completing various recruiting and call logs and reports.

  • Team travel and game day duties as assigned by head women’s volleyball coach.

  •  Participate in public relations activities, which may include speaking engagements, fund raising events, or other activities that promote KSU, KSA and/or the women’s volleyball program.

  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • Must have significant experience at the collegiate level coaching/teaching volleyball student-athletes

  • Proven ability to recruit quality collegiate student-athletes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coaching or playing experience at the collegiate or professional level

  • Experience coaching/teaching NCAA collegiate volleyball student-athletes

  • Ability to recruit NCAA Division I quality student-athletes

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

  • Must have a valid driver’s license at all times

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required

  • Must have a strong commitment to the academic and athletic goals of the K-State women’s volleyball program

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range

$65,000 to $80,000
