Director of Integrated Marketing

Drive & Company is seeking a Director of Integrated Marketing to lead the brand awareness of its publications and products (D1.ticker, D1.dossiers, D2.ticker, D3.ticker, NAIA.ticker, CollegeSports.jobs), the cross-promotion of its portfolio (Collegiate Sports Connect, AthleticDirectorU, D1.relocation, Student Athlete NIL and Advance) and work in unison with our dozens of advertising partners to ensure positive results via marketing campaigns. Responsibilities 

+ Lead company’s overall integrated marketing efforts 

+ Manage the company’s & the portfolio’s brand identities, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels 

+ Exceed subscriber growth goals by implementing comprehensive brand awareness campaigns to add new readers & reengage administrators & coaches on the move

+ Coordinate inventory optimization with portfolio companies alongside support staff & create bespoke marketing plans when necessary to achieve objectives 

+ Leverage first-party data to create targeted marketing campaigns according to company, portfolio and/or advertising partner initiatives 

+ Serve as point of contact for all graphic design needs with outsourced design partner, responsible for all graphical ideation, completion timelines & implementation

+ Work closely with Head of Product Performance & Advertising Account Executive to maximize PipeDrive (CRM) capabilities for sales outreach efficiencies & effectiveness

+ Along with the Advertising Account Executive & support staff, operate with an internal agency approach to assisting partners achieve success goals through Drive & Company advertising solutions 

+ Oversee any technology projects that relate to any of the company’s website, CRM, CMS, and/or other company softwares with the assistance of outside specialists when needed 

+ Attend industry events when necessary to deepen relationships and identify solutions for current and future partners 

Qualifications // Abilities 
+ At minimum, 3-5 years of experience at a media agency, digital-first publisher or sports property; knowledge and passion of college athletics and/or sports and business a plus

+ Experience developing, executing & iterating successful digital marketing campaigns

+ Knowledge and understanding of relevant media platforms (newsletter, ROS display, multimedia, social, etc.) as well as branded, sponsored, and original content

+ Ability to analyze an advertising partner’s traditional and non-traditional marketing needs based on the customer’s marketing targets and objectives, and craft an integrated marketing solution(s) to meet those needs 

+ Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including but not limited to newsletters, content marketing, banner ads and retargeting, including interpreting performance analytics for all areas 

+ Intermediate knowledge & understanding of Adobe suite of products, mainly for internal graphic design needs 

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, decentralized environment where attention to detail, time management/prioritization and organizational skills are paramount 

+ A competitive nature and an unwillingness to settle or give up 

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills 

+ Strong presentation skills and research abilities 

+ Active listening and high-level problem-resolution skills 

Education // Marketplace Experience 

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution preferred 

+ Knowledge of NCAA Division I, II, III and/or NAIA athletics and a deep understanding of the ever-evolving storylines, business dynamics, challenges, regulations, opportunities, etc. of the overall college athletics landscape is a plus
