The Associate Commissioner for External Operations and Special Projects is responsible for providing support while overseeing and enhancing the external relations of the organization, fostering strategic partnerships, and managing high-priority special projects. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills to advance the mission and visibility of the organization. The incumbent should have a strong understanding of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) and intercollegiate athletics to effectively navigate partnerships, compliance, and program development within the collegiate sports landscape, while working collaboratively with championship operations for execution. Additionally, experience with emerging sports and e-sports development, and its integration within intercollegiate athletics is highly desirable. This position will play a secondary role in strategic planning to ensure long-term growth and sustainability of the organization's initiatives.
