Baruch College is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, regional Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) and local City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC). The Athletic Department strive to produce championship teams, while helping to enhance the experience of the student-athlete to become a better leader in the future. This position will be reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Administration and Finance.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Interface with the head coaches, intramurals coordinator and Director of Athletics to schedule all athletics facilities both for indoor and outdoor sports while maintaining the online scheduling and facilities platform daily.
Work with the campus facilities department and public safety regarding all events set up, breakdown and execution.
Complete a daily inspection of all athletics facilities to ensure a safe user environment and logging all repairs and maintenance specific items in the online campus work order platform with oversight of all facility projects.
In conjunction with the Associate AD for Administration and Finance as well as the departmental procurement officer, acquire bids for new and used facility equipment.
Maintain and execute all facility use contracts, ensure they are vetted by the legal department and that all renters have certificates of insurance.
Responsible for all transportation schedules, athletic van maintenance, fuel fill up, vehicle logs, athletics driver clearance, van driver training, rentals, ride share requests, EZpass account, gas cards, and roadside assistance.
Conform to the highest standards of professional conduct regarding compliance with department and institutional policies and procedures and adherence to the rules and regulations of athletic governance organizations of which the institution is a member such as City University of New York Athletic Conference, NCAA, ECAC etc.
Nights and weekend work are required as designated by the Director of Athletics per schedule and facility needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
$79,188 - $93,134; Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and four years related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Sports Management and/or related field with preference given to facilities and operational management experience.
Demonstrated computer application skills (including but not limited to Excel, Google Workspace, or specialized accounting software)
Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
