Summary:
The Head Women's Soccer Coach oversees the coaching and training of student-athletes at the NCAA Division l level in the sport of Women's Soccer to prepare them for competition in local, regional, and national arenas.
Typical Duties
Coaching and training of student-athletes at the Division l level to prepare them for competition in local, regional, and national arenas;
Successful recruitment of academically qualified and athletically talented student-athletes;
Evaluation of prospective student-athletes;
Maintenance of accurate files of current and prospective student-athletes. Maintenance of required NCAA, A-10, State, and University paperwork;
Scheduling all games for the Women's Soccer Team;
Securing travel arrangements involved with recruitment, games, and tournaments;
Monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes.
Responsible for supervision of assistant coaches, including performance management in Talent@VCU.
