About the Role:

Motion is looking for a hungry, motivated team member to join us as a Sales Representative / Account Executive at a foundational stage of the company. 

This person will form a direct, high-trust relationship with the CEO and will support:

- Generating pipeline

- Prospecting athletic departments

- Leading outreach and relationship-building

- Creating meaningful value in early conversations

- Progressing deals toward close

What You’ll Do:

- Build pipeline through calls, email outreach, and relationship-building

- Partner directly with the CEO on deal strategy and later-stage opportunities

- Research and identify programs that will benefit from Motion

- Travel to athletic departments, conferences, and campus visits (20–50%)

- Manage CRM activity and help optimize our prospecting process

- Create thoughtful, mission-aligned outreach that reflects Motion’s tone and values

- Listen well, understand pain points, and help athletic departments feel supported

- Represent Motion with an “equip first” mentality

Bonus Points:

- Experience in sales, fundraising, or recruiting

- Experience in sports, athletics administration, or related fields

Compensation:

- Base salary: $30,000–$35,000

- Commission: Percentage of closed contract value

- On Target Earnings: $65,000

- Full benefits including 401K with match

- Earnings: Uncapped

- Travel: Reimbursement for approved travel-related expenses

- Upside: Potential for equity based on performance and tenure
